Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team! This position is located in New York, New York; Los Angeles, California; Seattle, Washington; and Orlando, Florida.

Duties:

• Develop and maintain an internal REST service written in TypeScript
• Design systems and procedures to expand and scale services efficiently
• Automate processes related to deliverables
• Use Test-Driven Development practices and functional programming paradigms
• Find creative ways to surface test content and mock services across the ecosystem
• Deliver test content to unblock partners or introduce new media features
• Own the end-to-end fulfillment of test content requests
• Support partner needs related to media playback
• Share ownership of playback support channels and communication threads
• Create and maintain documentation related to test content and supporting services
• Understand playback intricacies across multiple brands
• Track and execute tasks based on product and project requirements
• Maintain the test-stream and mock-service catalogs

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 2+ years of experience leading projects
• 2+ years of experience working in a cross-functional capacity
• 2+ years of experience building APIs
• Experience mocking data and services
• Experience writing unit tests
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and access management
• Experience manipulating or proxying data to augment application state
• Experience managing data collections or catalogs
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and Git source control

The approximate pay range for this position is between $56.00 and $80.00 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
