Job Description

Dizario Search is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations for an industry leading manufacturer located east of the Reno, NV area. This is a direct hire, permanent position with a multi-billion dollar company. It is a 1st Shift position, and the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the maintenance team at a manufacturing plant. This role will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery, equipment and building systems while minimizing downtime and ensuring safety compliance

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Maintenance Technicians, Electricians and other personnel
• Schedule and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Monitor and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and adherence to safety protocols
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service history, and spare parts inventory
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance needs and minimize operational disruptions
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements, equipment upgrades and safety enhancements
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on technical skills, procedures and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements regarding workplace safety and equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance is a plus
• Minimum of 2+ years of previous Maintenance Supervision/Management experience in an industrial setting
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of industrial machinery and PLC's
• Proficient in using CMMS
