Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Miami, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
As a key member of our agronomy team, you will work alongside and report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, playing a critical role in maintaining championship-level course conditions, mentoring crew members, and preparing the course for elite-level play and hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Superintendent in overseeing the daily maintenance of the Blue Monster golf course and surrounding grounds, including practice facilities and landscaped areas.
• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring agronomic practices, including mowing schedules, chemical applications, irrigation, and pest/disease management.
• Provide supervision, training, and development of grounds staff to promote team engagement and continuous improvement.
• Take a leadership role in crew management and communication, ensuring high standards of execution.
• Monitor and adjust irrigation systems for optimal turf health and water efficiency.
• Collaborate with equipment technicians to ensure proper use and care of machinery.
• Support record keeping including chemical applications, weather data, and labor reports.
• Assist with tournament preparation and special events to ensure flawless course presentation.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Compensation:
$70,000 – $85,000 per year.
